PSP Icon Tutorial
Hi!! First of all, I want to say you that English isn’t my first language (I’m Spanish) but I hope you understand this tutorial.
I work with PSP 8 I don’t know if this tutorial works in PS but sure it's translatable.

- Duplicate the base and set the layer mode to Soft Light 100.

- Add an exclusion layer with #100884 color (layer mode exclusion 100)

- Add this gradient called tp_Stalk_Light and set the layer mode to Hard Light 100.
The gradient is from PSP Art Resources

- Copy the background layer, put it on the top, desaturate and set the layer to Soft Light 100.

- Then I’ve added some text. It’s from the title of a Moby’s song, “Lift me” is with Pixies font and “Up” is with Hannibal Lecter font. The green color is #429194
Finally I’ve added a flower brush made by me.

And here there's our icon :D

Thanks! This is the icon I made using it, though it turned out slightly different, because the original image was pretty light.

Thnx, it's a great tutorial ;D Saved it to memory and immediately gave it a try. Came out a bit different, but I'm still pleased:
